THE Pacific Conference of Churches has provided a home for the Coffee Booth Ministry in Suva, Fiji’s capital.<\/p>\n

And its staff club will help fund the ministry which tries to ensure that nightclub patrons reach home safely.<\/p>\n

Last week a number of PCC staff members joined the Coffee Booth Ministry to distribute hot drinks and simple meals to people walking to the bus station to find transport after the clubs closed.<\/p>\n

“It’s important for the church to be where the people are and that’s why the staff club supports this ministry,” Kini Saratibau of the PCC said.<\/p>\n

“There is no judgment, no preaching. Just a warm drink and some food and help for people going home.”<\/p>\n

The PCC Secretariat office in Suva is used as a preparation and storage site for the drinks and food.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
