THE Archbishop of York was farewelled by the Diocese of Polynesia in Suva last week.
Archbishop John Sentamu is on a visit of the Pacific before he leaves office as the second highest ranking bishop of the Anglican Communion.
He will be replaced by Stephen Cottrell, the Bishop of Chelmsford.
The General Secretary of the Pacific Conference of Churches, Reverend James Bhagwan, and the Arch\bishop of Suva, Dr Peter Loy Chong, also attended the farewell event hosted by Archbishop Feremi Cama.
